Find What Your Plan Covers with the Search Services Tool
Did you know that you can find which services your plan covers in your secure member portal?
The Search Services tool will show you your plan coverage for different services you may receive from your doctors and specialists, including appointments like your Annual Wellness Visit, urgent care, and more.
NOTE: The Search Services tool will only show coverage associated with in-network providers and medical facilities. You may have higher costs if you visit out-of-network doctors or facilities.
Here’s your step-by-step guide on how to use our Search Services tool:
- Log in to your secure member portal account. If you don’t have an account, you can sign up get access to helpful online tools you can use to manage your health plan.
- There are two ways you can get to the Search Services tool:
- From the homepage, you can click “Search Services” in the “Covered Services” tile.
OR
- Hover over “My Current Plan” on the left side of the top bar menu and click “Covered Services."
- From the homepage, you can click “Search Services” in the “Covered Services” tile.
- Next, you’ll be taken to your Medical Benefits page where you can use the Search Services tool. Type in the search box to search by keyword (ex. root canal, eye exam, annual physical, PCP visit, emergency care, etc.) or click the down arrow to the right of the categories shown to view your benefits.
- Once you select a service, you will see details on your coverage, like if you’ll owe a co-pay (1). You will also see whether an authorization (2) or referral (3) is required and if the costs count towards your deductible (4).
- For more in-depth information about the service and what your plan covers, you can click “View Details” in the lower-right corner.
- “View Details” gives you more information about what your plan requires and the service you searched. For example, if you searched for a root canal, you can see your plan network requirements, learn more about your dental vendor, and the type of care root canals fall under (endodontics).
